LineupSupply Rewind Release
The newest ways to create playlists and a poll to pick what I work on next
Hey everyone,
Lots of new people subscribed recently and a lot has changed in the app since I set up this newsletter. I’ll try to keep it short, but this is probably longer than it’ll be in the future.
New features
This week I released an update to create Rewind playlists. You can automatically make a playlist of your top 50 artists over the last 1, 6, or 12+ months. It also creates you a shareable cover art like this.

Go check it out if you haven’t already and make sure to share them on your instagram story so that other people discover lineup supply.
I’ve also added another playlist creation type that turns videos into playlists. This is mainly geared towards TikToks that play multiple songs. You save the video then upload it into lineup supply and it takes all the songs in the video and makes you a playlist of them. This video shows an example.
Coming up next
Soon I’ll be shipping an update for Rewind that lets you make playlists of your top 50 Songs instead of only Artists. Once thats done I’ll work on letting you edit the cover art for any existing playlist in your account. Follow me on Twitter and TikTok if you haven’t already because I’ll be posting about it there.
After that I wanted to try to poll the subscribers here on a few ideas to see what to build next.
Apple Music support - I’ll finally get around to letting you use your Apple Music data instead of just Spotify.
Music quiz - The app will ask you questions about your top artists to see how well you know them and make a playlist at the end.
Tinder style swiping - You’ll start by picking one artist and then the app will feed you similar artists that you can swipe left or right on to create a playlist
I want to and will build all of these features, but thought it might be interesting to see what people want.
Thanks for subscribing,
Brett
